Original newel posts can be copied or Newel posts can be made to order in a style of your choosing or tuned to a drawing or photograph.Twisting, Fluting or Reeding can be carried out.

They can be made in a single length up to 8' long (2440mm) and up to 8" (200mm) square. Larger sizes can be accommodated depending on design.

Turned wooden Newel caps, Newel Posts and Balusters / Spindles are available from a standard range. They can also be made to drawings, photo's or originals copied.

C.N.C. Carving can also be applied to Flat newel posts or handrail blocks.

Restoration / Replacement posts.

Left: The original newel post which was discovered hidden under hardboard that was used to panel the staircase. As you can see it was chopped about a bit, so I turned a replacement from Sapele, which when stained and polished will be an excellent match.

Copies of existing reeded posts

These posts have not been stained yet, so the detail is not so pronounced.
