Make a sketch of your post, on a spare Sheet of paper.
Once completed transfer it to the back of this page. Then take your measurements in millimetres and add them to the sketch.

You should end up with a sketch like the one shown here.

Don’t worry if the sketch is not perfect as long as the measurements are correct I will smooth out the shape when turning. (For help with measuring see page 1b)

Always keep the diameter measurements on one side and the distance measurements, on the other side of the sketch.

Remember to mark any sections of the turning that will remain square.

Dont forget to put in the total length of the turned section outside the distance measurements.

If possible always provide photographs.
